What's On

Sunday Services

At the heart of all our services is the teaching of the bible, as we listen to God speak to us from His word and apply it to our lives here in 21st Century Stafford. You would be welcome at any of our services each Sunday. Our complex has a large car park.

10:30am Family Service (Meets in the Church Centre - Newport Road)

This is a modern and informal service using projection technology and with music led by a band. It attracts people aged 0-100! After around 20 minutes the children leave us for their own Sunday School activities. We have a large Sunday School led by trained CRB checked teachers. The children usually look at the same passage of the bible as the adults in the main service. They can then be collected at coffee time after the service. There is a well equipped pre-school zone within the main service. We break bread around the Lord’s Table on the 3rd Sunday of each month.

Traditional Sunday Service with choir (9:00am in the old church building – Newport Road)

For those who prefer a traditional style of worship, we have a sung morning service. This is led by our church choir and alternates between morning prayer (1st & 3rd Sundays) and Holy Communion (2nd, 4th & 5th Sundays).

9:45am Sunday Service (at Lovelace Close Highfields)

An informal setting for this warm and friendly service in the church hall on Highfields.

6pm Sunday Service (Meets in The Barn behind the Church Centre - Newport Road)

The last service of the day is very popular and combines modern and traditional music as we come together in this quieter more reflective time together, with an opportunity to spend more time in God's word.

Christianity Explored - at various times throughout the year

Christianity Explored is an informal course for people who'd like to investigate Christianity, or just brush up on the basics. It explores who Jesus was, what his aims were, and what it means to follow him. You won't be asked to pray, sing or read aloud, and you can ask any questions you like. Or, if you prefer, you can just come along and listen. Christianity Explored is designed to suit different age ranges and people. We tend to meet in informal places like people’s homes or a local pub. If you would like more information, then please contact us or have a look at the Christianity Explored website.

Church Holidays

We have a range of breaks that we organise using the wonderful Shallowford House. The aim of these is to have a lot of fun, share fellowship and hear God speak to us together. These include our hugely popular Midweek Break and The Big Weekend Houseparty.
